I Saw a NEW 1991 Silver Anniversary Bronco Today
While browsing through hemmings.com , I did a search for vehicles for sale : 1987-1991 Ford Broncos. There is a collector selling a 75 mile(Yes, only 75 miles!),never registered,or titled, 1991 Silver Anniversary Bronco. It's brand new!!! Judging from the picture,it has dual exhaust pipes, so it has a 351 in it. The ad says it comes with the original factory window sticker. In 1991,it stickered at $27,500.Since the truck is a new vehicle, the seller probably wants something close to that figure for it.It really is a sharp-looking truck. The ad says this is offered by a "collector of many".....I assume that means Broncos. I wonder what other fullsize '78-'96 models they have in their collection?:7

Hmmm, Interesting. I wonder what the point of buying it was if you are just going to shelve it. That's a lot of money. The Bronco doesn't really seem like a collectable vehicle.
Here is the picture:
This brings up a question in my mind though. Does anyone know of a site where you can find out what your Bronco originally sold for when it was new? I would like to find out how much my $3,500 Bronco orignally went for.

You might try researching either Autotrader's website,or Edmund's website to see what your '93's M.S.R.P.,and option prices were for that year. I know the 351 was a $220 option over the base 302 engine. As far as fullsize Broncos being collectible or not,I guess it all depends on who you talk to.The 1991 Silver Anniversary Bronco will be highly sought after in the years to come. Why? It was a one year only model, with special options on it that wasn't built in vast numbers.I recently went to a local Ford dealer's parts dept. to order some stuff for my '90 XLT.So the counter guy and I started talking. He basically said get what you need now, because over the next five years, a lot of parts for '80-'96 pickups & Broncos will be phased out of production(i.e. the price of N.O.S. parts, such as trim items will skyrocket....if you can find them). The popularity of Ford's '78-'96 fullsize Bronco cannot be denied. These vehicles are destined to become classics. They stopped building them in 1996. You wait, because in 5-10 years Bronco prices will rise. I LIKE the fact a lot of collectors overlook Broncos.....that means I can afford to buy a few & restore them,& ENJOY(keyword....)them.Is a 75 mile ,as new, Bronco worth $27,500? Have you priced Ford's current offerings, lately?

Yeah, I guess that's true about the price of new trucks. :-staun
I tried finding the price of my Bronco new, but didn't have any luck. I bet someone here knows though. 93, XLT, 5.8l, nothing special added. Anyone have a ballpark figure for me?
Anyway, what do I know about collecting stuff? Nothing! It has always seemed like a waste to me. I buy stuff to use it, not to look at it. (Unless it's Art.)
It is very interesting though. Why would he have kept it for so long, and now be selling it?
So what special options were included on the Anniversary edition?

According to the 1991 Ford Brochure that I have (I also have a 1991 Silver Anniversary) It was a limited production with silver anniversary front fender emblem and logo on the spare tire carrier. It has (I was told it was the first year for this option) leather seating surfaces on Captain's Chairs, 22-oz carpeting and more. The SA only came in Currant Red with a matching currant red fiberglass top. It has a small bucking bronco emblem on the pillar just behind the front windows (I forget the name) The spare tire carrier is also currant red and says Silver Anniversary on it, (try finding one of those from Ford). In the Brochure it only lists the leather seating as standard on the SA and not available on any other Bronco in 1991. The seats are charcoal grey with a burgandy stripe and the door panels match. It also has floor mats that have SA sewn into them. Mine is a 302 efi with the E4OD trans with power everything. I checked with Ford on trying to get some seat covers to replace the ones that are in the truck and the guy laughed at me. The best price I have found so far to try and match the front seats is 3500.00 Mine has 144,000 on it and the body is still beautiful, not a spot of rust anywhere. I am starting to run into the typical mechanical problems but will keep throwing money at it like the rest ot the Bronco owners. I hope this helps. If anyone is interested in any other info from my 1991 brochure just send me email to tothfngclwNo email addresses in posts! I will be happy to pas on whatever I can. I picked this up on ebay so for those looking for one for their year Bronco you might want to try there. I too was shocked at the sticker price on this thing. I bought mine used this year, but it had to be one expensive vehicle in 1991.

After reading through the brochure 1 more time it also list this as having the 31x10.5 tires as stock all other Bronco's were optional. The paint color is not even listed as available on any other truck that year just the SA. That might make it rough for touch ups or accidents.

The MSRP of my 1993 Eddie Bauer Bronco with 5.8L, trailer tow package, and elec shift 4X4, no leather, was $26413.00
if anybody cared
it was my grandpa's truck, i was with him when he bought it brand new, i was 10, now i'm 18, i just paid $6500 for it, and it had 98K, now it has almost 105K. I love it!!!!!!! I get compliments on it all the time, the black is the shiniest you've ever seen. I work at a Dodge Dealer as a tech, and I ever get compliments from managers at a dodge dealer, not too bad. They're all just jealous, they want a bronco too, but they can't have one!! SO HA!!!
