Have you had the truck checked for abnormal inner tie rod wear or anything like that?

if you are not looking for an aggressive tread tire try the Goodyear Forteras with silent armor. I just put them on my wife's 04 Explorer and she says the difference is night and day. I had the revos on my 97 f150 and they were the best all around tire I've ever had. I had BFG AT's and towards the end of their treadlife they were horrible in the rain. the revo's were great even after 50k miles.

Got the Revo's today, and took a quick trip. No vibrations that I noticed, but I didn't have any before either. So far, I am satisfied. I will take a short trip tomorrow to really test them out.

Talking

Just put new Cooper STT's on today and the shimmy I did have is virtually gone. I had a pretty bad shimmy right around 68 MPH with the stock tires much better now. I am very happy with these tires, look great and not that bad of a price.

I bought Goodyear Fotera Silent Armour tires for my 01 Exped and they are awesomely smooth and quite even after 10K miles. I highly recommend them even above the Michelins. Also, you can pump them up to 44psi for better gas mileage.

The more I drive with the Revo's, the worse they get. I took it back to get re-balanced today. If no better, I'll go back to the Rugged Trails. They didn't last, but they were smooth.

Steering wheel is starting to shimmy, and they just ride rough. No, I have not had them road force balanced, and don't want to go through that hassle. I just can't understand why you can't buy the correct tire size and have a decent ride like you used to on Fords. Now all I hear about is road force balance, and only use certain brands.

I know it sucks I'm with you on that 100%.Im scared to buy the Revos now but I need tires badly and can't keep driving with the steering wheel shimmy it really makes the truck feel cheap..Ive heard of others that have changed tires and have had the steering wheel shimmy at highway speeds and never had it with the tires they took off..keep everyone posted and good luck.

You may want to check and make sure your dealer put the "P" tires on and not the LTs the LTs are light truck tires and will ride stiffer, check the side wall the size of the tire should start with the letter "P"

I had the front end re-aligned on my '04 F150 and the Genreal Tires road forced balanced and the shimmy problem went away on my truck. I think I can at least wear the tires out now before having to buy new ones.

Took the Revo's back, and put on the BFG's again. Problem solved. No vibration. Steering wheel only shimmies when hitting rough road spots. Finally.

I did it My F150 is gone traded her last night for the new Tundra..hope I have some good luck god knows I had horrible luck with my 150, I tried to keep her but could not take the steering wheel shimmy AND whole truck vibration any longer and the fact that I had the tranny, power steering pump, ball joints, rear axle seal, rear caliper,E-brake,lower end engine noise, clunking noise in rear end, leaking 3rd light, all these issues left me wiped out I feel bad because I did enjoy the truck so much despite the fact that I got a lemon..funny thing is that I got the Toyota off road package 5.7 and it has of all tires the BF Goodrich Rugged Trail 18s but has absolutely no steering wheel shimmy at all or driveline vibrations..hope you all keep enjoying your trucks... hope I didnt make a mistake.
