Fabbed Aux. Tank...finally; sorry.
Well I finally posted pics of my tank I made last year. I sincerely apologized to all of you who asked me to do so months ago. My truck has actually beeen washed twice since then but as you'll see is very dirty again; been doing a lot of pig hunting every weekend.
Secondly I apologized to raptor who asked for the part number on my Intl. Emblems...1A 3550901C1

Thats how all the ones I see work. They just gravity feed into the o.e.m fuel neck. I guess if you run the stock tank down you would want to fill it up, then fill the aux tank. Im looking at building one as well. Something smaller, around 35 gallons or so.

I will leave it on while I travel and it just drains as I go along. When I see the main gauge dropping then I know the aux. is empty. In the summer the heat expansion makes it drain faster than the winter. I installed it so I don't have to pull into gas stations with my 27' tt, that stresses me out. With this I can go get fuel after I get to a campground.

Boy thats tough :the aluminum was expensive; I want to say close to 400. I used smooth because diamond plate was too expensive. Th3 bottom and sides are 7/16" or close to half inch for tapping the outlet. Plus remember it has baffles (3) inside too. The cap was 20 and the fliter, hoses, valve and such was close to 70-80. I know it was expensive but it was custom fit. It weighs about 75 lbs.
