I had an 85 CJ7 that started out w/ a 4 cyl, then I put a straight 6 in but it didn't last long. Then came the 304/ TF999 but I didn't put a loud exhaust on it, the 36" Swampers made enough noise for me.

Ok, now I have a serious question that I need help with. I have two products picked out, and I need some input on wether or not they can play nice together.

Set of Hooker headers:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...rt=HOK-6912HKR

Purple Hornies:
http://store.summitracing.com/partde...t=BIG-50232FLT

They both have a 3 bolt flange setup, but the collector on the headers is 2.5 inches while the inputs on the mufflers are 3 inches.

Will this work? could they be massaged together? I am having trouble finding a longtube header for this truck (95 F150 351W) that would have a 3 in collector to match up to the Hornies. This is the best I can come up with, if I go with a hedman hedder, the only one that would work has a ball and socket flange that wont work with the hornies.

Any ideas?

Thats what I want is the hookers, but the problem is I can only find them for my truck with a 2.5 inch collector, and the purple hornies are 3 inch. Is there an adapter made anywhere for this that would step a 2.5 inch collector up to 3 inch?

Would it be possible with some manipulation to bolt on the 3 inch header mufflers to a 2.5 inch collector?

well, i have been doing a lot of looking at hedman and hooker, and all that i can find that have a 3 inch collector are shorties, and that wont work for me. but I guess i will continue to look, maybe in the time that i take to look, they will make what i need,

Check out LMCTRUCK.com they have some hedman headers that may fit
your truck and they look to be long.

Those would work perfect except that they are a ball and socket flange, not a 3 bolt set up, this is driving me nuts! thanks for the help though!
