Here's an interesting tidbit: http://www.thecarconnection.com/Auto...73.A11974.html
"Both are struggling but Navistar may have a slight edge since demand for diesel engines has been rising. In addition, Navistar has been quietly helping Nissan develop a new diesel engine for the Titan pickup truck."
Maybe this pissing match is about more than just warranty issues.
when this lawsuit first was filed Navistar already shipped 25,000 engines. now assuming they didn't stop building them until today and they didn't work weekends at 400 engines a day that is approximately 12,000 more engines total 37,000 built. which is close to 85% short of a usual year for them. (my math is most likely off) If anyone can show me the right numbers i would appreciate it

They're still building them. They've got a lot of the engines in stock.
