Leather seat wear and tear.

Seems these trucks, like many other trucks with leatehr seats, tend to tear up on the drivers side pretty easily. Under 100K miles it seems. I have about 55K and while my seats are still fine, i feel they are starting to show early sgns that they are gonna have the typical wear cracks. What have you guys done to try and help prolong the life of the leather? Ive used the meguires leather treatment in the past, but didnt seem to do much for me? But that was on my trans am that seemed to have a thicker heavier leather on it.

the only thing I did to try to prolong the life of my seats....was not to slide off the seat. Just step up and out... It is just so easy to twist and slide right out...but I think that wears out the seat fairly fast..

good luck,
Steven

layson, i just saw the pics of your truck..well, if you never said that it was an 01, i never would have guessed it. you keep it very clean. i also see that you changed the grill to the same one i have when i did my conversion. also, how do the lights perform behind the grill?
