88 Bronco Seats? Retrofit
>Has anyone swapped out the seats from their Bronco with a
>direct replacement? OR - are there any seat covers out
>there that look good enough to believe they were made for
>this seat? Leather would be cool......
Take a look in my gallery - I put in seats from a 94 Eddie Bauer
Explorer. 6 way power, leather..
They fit really nice and are way comfortable.

88 Bronco Seats? Retrofit
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 14-Oct-02 AT 11:21 PM (EST)]The biggest thing you have to do is to bend the front part of the Explorer seat mount down to match the floorpan angle of the Bronco.
I used the inside forward mounting hole for the Bronco seat rails for the Explorer seat rails, and drilled the other holes where needed. Used grade 8 bolts with fender washers under the floorpan to spread out the load. You may have to shim the rails in the back to keep everything square, and for power just bring it from any always hot source (that way you can still move your seats without having the key in the ignition).
Pretty straightforward, and a nice upgrade.
Hope this helps
