Finally got 08 F-350; pics in gallery

I signed up on this site after I ordered my truck and have to thank all of ya'll for helping me keep my sanity during the waiting time. I checked this site daily and gladly absorbed any new information regarding the 08's so thanks to everyone for their posts.

Concerning the truck, this is definitely the finest truck I have ever owned. Obviously I only have 200 miles on it so check back with me in a couple of years and I'll tell you if my opinion has changed. I know some like the loud, manly diesel sounds but I don't. The first night I had it I drove into Sonic and ordered without turning off my engine. That was definitely something I couldn't do in my 7.3. I'm impressed with the exterior and don't mind the front end at all. The factory 20's are a nice option. But the interior is what I'm most impressed with. You really don't feel like you're in a truck. It reminds me of an Escalade or some other luxury vehicle, and I guess at 50K you shouldn't expect anything less! The ride is smooth and comfortable and the Nav system took me about 5 minutes to master. Maybe I'm just a hick but the coolest thing to me is the power telescoping/folding mirrors. I have played with them so often they'll probably break before long.

Again, thanks to everyone for all the info. I've uploaded several poor photos to my gallery. I'm still learning the site so hopefully you can view them if you're interested.

Congratulations, very nice looking truck you got there! Thanks for the pictures, I enjoyed viewing them.

I actually got to see my 1st 08 today here in Central Pa, an F250 Diesel.......I very much like the new look, inside and out. Quiet compared to my previous 7.3, wow!

I totally agree! The telescoping/folding mirrors are very TRICK! I've been wondering if they would fit the older SD's ('99-'04).

Congrats!

If they are a complete unit (all necessary motors for the functions), then all they need is power. So...if they bolt up...and are complete, then I see "someone" doing the install. Will wait on that...
