Best place to buy a Hi-Lift

My fiance is buying me a Hi-Lift X-treme jack for my birthday, and I was wondering what a good place to order one would be.

Is there anyone that has had good luck with any offroad accessory sites? I have looked at Rocky Mountain Suspensions site and 4x4 Connections site and was wondering if anybody knows of a good place with good service and reliability, I dont think that you can buy them direct.

Any ideas?

i just bought mine from jc whitney. you're gonna find they are pretty much the same price anywhere ya go, however you might get lucky and find one on sale

i would order from Tellico4x4 if i were to do it again! they have great service and prices are pretty competitive

Thanks for the info, but when I checked JC whitney, they did not carry the Hi-Lift X-treme, which is all cast, and has a different top clamp/clevis.

btw, did you get a 48 or 60 inch?

and right now, if you get one from 4x4 connection, they have a 10% discount if the order is 125 or more

If you have the room (and if youre planning on lifting your rig) go with the 60"er.

I recieved a 48" for my birthday and I wanted a 60" but luckily a friend of mine bought a 60" for his newly aquired TJ (buying that thing is he really a friend? hehe!) and thinks that it's to long to mount up. So we worked out a deal, my labor on the Jeep, for a trade, my 48" for his 60". Bigger is Better!!!!!

yeah, she already placed an order there, but for a 48 incher, and she forgot to add the coupon code for the order, but luckily the address got typed in wrong so it didnt go through, and she canceled it until I made up my mind

Sounds like i will go with the 60 inch x-treme

unrulee, I looked at your gallery, and it is good to see another North Dakota license plate! (nice truck too)

I bought my Hi-Lift 60" 3.5 ton and fix kit (which I never used and don't even know whee it is after three years ) from Northern Tools. They sell the whole product line including the base, off road shackle kit, wheel lift, etc.

one of the things was a little bag with chains/shackles/gloves for using it as a winch and the other thing I bought was the offroad base - i think its like 16"x16" plastic base so the jack won't sink in mud.

Just as a note, the Hi-Lift Xtreme is also black, and is all-cast (as opposed to cast/steel) They are rated the same, are the same strength, its just that the cast/steel will wear out slightly faster... but will still last for many many years of use
