Does anyone in the KC area have a recommendation on a shop where I could get the pinion bearing replaced on my Mountaineer? I could probably do it myself, I have the ability, but I am trying to decide if I want to lay on the ground and do it in the garage or pay to have someone do it. I also don't have the tools to check the preload on it.
Also, if someone could point me to a good thread explaining the process, that might help me decide.
