Hate the Pirelli tires, options/trade?

F150 2006 w/ the 20 inch rims and pirelli's are not what I want. any suggestions on how to cost effectively get ride of them. The previous version was a 2004 w/ the 18 inch rims and BF Longtrails. The ride was more supple. these tires with the low profile design offer a harsher ride. The tires/rims have 4000 miles. How do i trade out of these w/o taking a beating? I know many prefer these so for many, it would be considered an uptrade, but its a matter of finding the right person.

Sell them on ebay. Try to use a freight company to do the shipping.

I also do not like the hard ride with the Pirelli low profile tires. I have a 06 King Ranch with 20" wheels. Would like to get a tire that has a smoother ride. Any suggestions?

too far for me, I wanted those wheels with some 325s on it. But you could probably do a trade on craigslist for the 18s plus cash. They are highly sought after and the 18s are nice, rides as nice as my mom's Mercedes or my BMW.

Whatever you can do to increase tire wall height, as well as rim size.... will greatly improve the ride comfort.

I just had Michellin Pilot LTX's installed Friday. Had a vibration and handling problems from day 1 and these took care of it. Drove 800 miles round trip this weekend through the desert and through driving rain and LOVED them. No shake, no sidewall flex and a great ride for truck tire. BTW they are 18's.

shoot you could sell those wheels and tires for at least 1000 if not more on ebay, those wheel/tire combo are in high demand on ebay. I would have bought a set if they weren't 1200ish when i was buying new wheels.

Wouldn't he want a bigger sidewall with smaller wheels to get the ride he wanted.
