I was just reading some info on the net for ZF's....
S42 is rated @ 420 lbs tourqe
S47 is rated @ 470 lbs tourqe

Is this info correct? And is the S47 hard to find?

 

My information lists two torque ratings for the S42,
Low gear ratio of 4.65 is 433 foot pounds.
Low gear ratio of 5.72 is 419 foot pounds.

All S47 trannies are rated at 462 foot pounds reguardless of tranny ratio.
Low gear ratios of 5.72, 5.08 and 4.14 are found in the S47.
