I recently got code p0470 and p0478 on my 2000 F-250. I replaced the Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor and cleaned the tube. Now I'm getting a code that says P700A but I can't find that anywhere....anybody got any ideas...
That's not a properly formatted code. It is powertrain related because it is a P code, but 700a is not right. Check your scanners lit, then try another scan tool.

IMO,the code reader used also reads gasser codes and it just popped up. That looks like a code for a gasser. I cannot find what that would be either.

The code is actually P7A00. I'm using a Hypertech Performance Enhancer to get the codes. I got the P7A00 code at the same time I got the P0470 & P0478. All three codes are still there after changing Exhaust Back Pressure Sensor. The truck has a bad miss and NO power. The SES light stays on. Would the Exhaust Back Pressure Circuit make truck lose power.........The Back Pressure Actuator is leaking a very small amount of oil.....
