So i went and test drove the 08 today. I was actually impressed with the new styling in person. At first i didn't like what i saw in the pictures, but everything on it comes togheter real nice.

However, i wasn't too impressed with the new engine. Didn't seem to have much less, if any at all, turbo lag due to the extra turbo. the truck also didn't seem to have the same low end power. Is this a fact? I don't know the numbers, it might just be me.

I'm still undecided wether i'm going to trade in my 05 6.0 yet.

just wanted to share my experience for anyone who hasn't driven one yet.

Kevin , if you look at the dyno sheets of an 05 and 08 there is almost 100 pounds of tourqe difference at certin rpms. My guess is that with the lower sounds in the cab , it is playing tricks on your seat of the pants fealing.
