Where to buy clutch slave cylinder (searched)?

I'm trying to find the OEM Ford replacement slave cylinder that I see everyone on here recommends. Other than the dealership, where are people buying these? I see many places online offer Bendix as OEM. Is this the one?

Also, I searched earlier today and found a nice clutch change write-up, but now that I'm ready to print it, I can't find it. If someone has a link, that would be great.

It's been a while since I've been on here - two years actually - that was the last time something went wrong! Not bad for a DD 140k mi truck

Thanks in advance,

Advance, Autozone, and O'reilly all sell the OEM style unit, they just usually don't have it on hand. Granted, not a Genuine Ford Part, but it looks just the same.

Looks don't mean beans in terms of a part's quality.

You can get OEM parts at a couple of FTE sponsors, rockauto.com, and of course the dealer. The OEM slave will cost more than an aftermarket unit, but think of how long your original one lasted...

EPNCSU2006 - exactly! I don't want a "same OEM quality part", I want the OEM FORD part! THe first one lasted 140k mi.

Back to the question - rockauto.com lists four different slave cylinders for a 96 4x4 with the I6. None of which say Ford.

Another FTE sponsor, Direct Ford Parts lists two units for my vehicle, one "w/ T18 trans" and one "w/out T18 trans". No mention of manufacturer, however their website name would lead me to believe it's Ford. Anyone have anymore insight on this? I'm in a pinch and would like the part by the weekend.

Thanks again,
Rich

Do you have the old one in-hand? If so, enter the part number (E7TE-...... or F1Twhatever it might be) and see what comes up at the direct Ford Parts. RockAuto must have stopped carrying Motorcraft parts. I would call the Discount Ford Parts place to make sure you get the right part, or enter the part number from the slave cylinder in your truck now directly.
