Looking For Some Answers

Hi there, I am probably in the wrong section to be asking question and if so I am sorry...I own a 1998 Ford Windstar and the cruise control has not worked since we have had it, I was wondering what I could possible look for to see how to fix it, I have been serching for a fuse panel list to see if the fuse might be blown.
Also wondering why my door ajar light keeps coming on when the side door is opened and stays on, even after it is closed, I have been using the WD40 and that will work for a bit but then it starts up again...thanks for any help...

use compressed air on the door lock mechanism, blow it clean. i get the same thing with my '02 s'crew. the sensors get dirty and read false. not sure about the cruise tho.

the tech at the dealer here in town said NOT to spray it with wd40 or any other liquid substance as dust could stick to the sensor and make it worse.
