I drew the lowest numbers out there....
I think next time We have an event like this... we'll have to work out some sort of Commitment "documentation" for those wanting to come....
Not a Single GM made it out there..... only Fords.... and Dodges...

Unless someone else sponsors the Dyno or we have preregisteration with payment, the Diesels in Greenville event will be canceled. It was scheduled for Oct 6th. The dyno is not cheap and we needed 27 trucks to break even. This past October we had 23 trucks for a first time event, today there was 7. I will be very blunt about this, and understand, I'm not mad, just very, very dissapointed, it is not worth my time and money to open my business and sponsor the dyno for 7 trucks. It is also not fair to ask people like Jeff McDermott from Palmetto Bio Fuels to be there for only 7 trucks.

It was one of Garmon's trucks--very nice.
I was a little disappointed in the turnout too, especially since lots of folks that told us they were going didn't show.
Thanks to Autospecialties for the time and effort you put in!!! It was worth the time for us to drive down although we were disappointed in our numbers and looks like we have some more work to do. Also, Thanks to David and Mike for working with us--really taught us some stuff.

If the Diesels in Greenville event comes together and happens, Diesel ttrucks will have the priority on the dyno. If there is time after the diesels have run, then the gas powered trucks will be welcome to run. As far as the rest of the event anyone is welcome to come join in and see what's happening.

I just read about the turnout.....i'm sorry to hear it didn't come out better than that. You guys worked hard on it.....maybe it was just the wrong time of year or something.
My intention was to be there but the wifes dad took a turn for the worse on the friday before and there wasn't anything I could do but stay here with her. Not totally unexpected....83 with bone cancer.....but had been doing ok. he's stable for now and we're just getting back to normal.
We'll just have to keep trying on the gtg's......
Hang in there
