Question Stick on oil pan heater

Hello everybody

Has anyone tried the stick on oil pan heaters from JC whitney? There the only ones I can find on the internet. A friend of mine bought me one of the magnetic type but if you leave them plugged in for to long they can burn your oil. Also looking for a recirculating heater but I have not been able to find one. I would like to at least put the oil pan heaters on my 03 SD 6.0 and 85 6.9 diesels any input would be great thankx.

Any of the autoparts store should have both of them. summit has the stick-on ones.
The oil pan ones on dsl do not help that much when its real cold. The tank heaters work real good for warming the dsl up quick. Real pain to put them in the new trucks though. good luck.

I found a pan heater called wolverine, its the only one big enough to heat up 15 gts. for the 6.0 diesel. All the other ones were to small.

Heck on my big rigs I just put two cups of fuel oil in a can. Light it and slide it under the pan. Leave the Bonnet open though. HAAA Realy we all do this.
