personally I'd just run the OEM plugs. And just check 'em every 20-30,000 miles. really recommend you wait until the 100,000 interval, but if you are gonna do it, at least be proactive about checking them often.

Waiting will almost guarantee that they will break...so proactive replacement is really the best idea. I've found very few people that actually have evidence of the champion plugs missing.....i've talked to three people that said they're junk, but all three of them admited that they think champion plugs in general are junk...not these....and i for one along with a number of other people on here have them in our trucks and they're working just fine....
I'd do the champion plugs for peace of mind...

If you follow the latest TSB they won't break. I have done several sets at 90-120k and they all came out. The longer you let the carb cleaner soak the better. Most of the plug I done soaked at least 2-3 hrs and came out with all the carbon dissolved. The motorcraft carb and tune-up cleaner in the red and white can (it's not aerosol) is the ticket. Pour 2 capfuls down each plug hole, loosen the plugs 1/8 turn, and go have a few beers or something.
