Coolingmist or Snow Performance??

I'm thinking of adding a Water/Meth injection system to help lower the EGT's a bit. Which one is the best?

I run a stage 2 Snow kit on my gas-er. I like it and It works great. Never had a problem with it.

I run the snow performance stage 2 kit and think its a waste of money. It cools down the temps but unless you install a huge tank for the waTER/methanol youll have to keep filling up the tank every half hour of towing. worthless to me atleast.

Check my sig and you'll see I've already got the NOS. 100HP shot actually. Since the Stage II's were installed, I've got TONS of smoke and EGT's get very high, very quick. Looking for this mostly for running at the strip.

No tranny problems at all. I do have an aftermarket Torque Converter as well.

It never did puke all that much coolant before. I started off at 2500 miles with an Edge Juice Platinum with Hot code and NOS. It ran a 13.8 like that.

Not only do I have the Studs, but I totally removed the EGR cooler and plugged it.

I haven't been to the track since my latest mods. Just finished them up in Dec. 06. Planning on hitting the track nexxt weekend. I have been up against a truck that consistently runs a 12.3 and I pulled away. Too freakin' kewel!! Dying for numbers!!

I have the Snows kit... It has worked fine for 2 years but there coustmer service sucks, there support after the sale sucks, and they want a small fortune for there injectors... Get the cooling mist kit, I have installed theres and it is 99% better then the Snows... Just look at there (snows) stage 3 kit and then at the cooling mist...

I run a real basic single stage system from Coolingmist. The service and tech help from David are excellent. Since I put my kit on they have added braided steel lines and new couplers/fittings for the lines, and also a very versatile variable controller that you can use both boost and EGT's to run the water.

My 6 gallon tank and pump are mounted in my tool box. I can use all 6 gallons when towing my towhauler in about 100 miles. Wanting to go to atleast to a dual nozzle setup if not a dual stage set up.

I notice the EGT's are reduced by about 150 degrees or so. Its kind of neat to watch them actaully dropping(digital gauge), and you know when the waters on!

About 40-60hp at 40% meth... But If your EGT's are not an issue, then add more fuel!
