Quiet 6637?
Is there a way to make a 6637 installation quiet? I've seen posts that indicate it was loud enough to justify spending more money on another intake. Is the metal enclosure on the others enough to reduce the sound levels? Seems like a little sheet metal work could cure the problem. I may give that a try. Trying to keep sound and cost down. New ball joints and a few front end parts are cutting into my loud maker money. Looks like Aluminized and 6637 now!

I didn't notice that big a gain in noise level when I installed mine. The big noise and vibration came when I put on the 5" cannon exhaust.... The only real difference I noticed was the whirrr coming from the turbo when it spooled down.
