Turn Signal Flasher??

Driving home today in my 94' Bronco I noticed one of my signals wasn't working. So, when I got home I checked all the signals and noticed they'd work for a few blinks and then would go out. Can the turn signal flasher mounted in the fuse panel gradually go bad or does it go out just like a fuse? I'm visiting my parents for the next couple of days so I don't have access to any tools and hope replacing the turn signal flasher might be a quick fix. Any thoughts? Thanks.

I would change it and see what happens. They are only a couple of dollars and doesn't require and tools. Pop open your fuse panel pull it out (it is normally silver and big and round, doesn't look like the other fuses in there) If this doesn't fix it post here again.

I agree.... Sounds like the flasher. Replace it. $3 max.

That did the trick guys. Gotta like it when a $2 fix does the trick.

How loud is the replacement $2 flasher? My flasher works fine, but I can't really hear it. They sell an extra loud flasher for $9 and I was thinking of getting one.

I didn't really notice so I guess it's not that loud.
