Here it is... My X lifted 6" w/315/70/17 tires

I originally planned to use the stock wheels basically for financial reasons and it seemed the largest tire I could safetly fit would have been 285's... I just couldn't do it... the new wheels were calling my name so I decided to go into debt and charge it.

http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT64433.aspx

The tires are brand new ProComp design for 2007 315/70/17 (35") xTreme mud tires these exact tires are not up on the website yet... I drove down to the warehouse in LA area to pickup a set of xTerrain tires and they had a show truck out front with these tires on it... They are nice I love them so far but only had them a day.

As for this lift 6" ProComp... the kit came with an add a leaf spring and 2" lift block I plan to swap the 2" for a 3" soon to level out the rear.

NICE!!

Wonderfully aggressive stance. Those tires ARE nice.

One things for sure, you never will need a jack or lift to work on the underside!!

3KIDDAD, nice truck . Isn't a big difference going from that low 2wd truck all the ay to to 6 inch's of lift? How does the 2wd perform in the mud with those tires? Did you re gear the rear end?

Thanks ...

I did not regear I'll say the difference (in power) was not as dramatic as I expected but what I've noticed the most are the change in shift points where the engine will rev much higher before shifting and seems to want to wait longer before down shifting... I haven't driven it enough yet to know if this is gonna bother me but if so I'll prob install that Truspeed device from superlift.

Because of other posts I read I did check the speedo with old tires against my GPS and the speed was about 1MPH fast with the new tires it's now about 3MPH slow so seems the 35"tires net about a 4MPH difference.

As for the tires I have noticed a significant difference in traction over the stock tires in 2wd... I have not even had to use 4wd yet where with the old tires I know I would have needed to... as you can see I live where it snows and turns into mud and usually have to use 4WD often.

Great tires I am very impressed... they do make some noise (I like it though) however for such an agressive tire I'd say it's not bad at all.
