Event Ideas

Just like it says what kind of event would everyone like to see put together for this fall, and winter, aswell as next year ? ( ie. picnics, IN dune days, more truck pulls, etc. )
I hope everyone will chime in here so I can try to set up some events that interests ya.

Hope to see all that can make it at the ISP truck pulls in Yorkville, at the Kendall Co. fair grounds.

The Dunes sound like a cool idea, just have to wait until it gets warmer again.

The Auto Show in January or February.

Southside Irish Parade in March.

Picnics/BBQs/whatever outdoors when its warmer.

Well I have ordered my lift kit and tires so the dunes will be one event I will start to wrk on for the spring. I am looking to find some trails and open areas to do some mudding as well.

What else do ya all think would be good ideas for events for 2007?

Badlands in attica IN has a fullsize trail there. I havent seen it yet but that could be an option.

Truck pulls are always fun. plus members can pull as well

The drag strip. could be fun to go whoop on some ricers

Camping is fun. even if there is nothing to do around there

Dunes but that was already mentioned. That is my fav place, its hard to go home with new pinstriping from there. You just gotta clean sand out from everywhere

Mud bogs, but i have no idea where to go for that.

thats all that comes to mind. it really depends on how far away we want to go.

union grove used to/might still have mud drags, maybe the new 66 track has some off-road activities too? starved rock or a jellystone park might be a good meeting place for a lot of members?

Meeting ideas

No one posted ANY further ideas here since November?

At this rate the site will lock the chapter.

Your Chapter Leader cannot do everything for every member, YOU as a member must be active in the chapter.

I agree. This chapter is VERY slow. There are rarely new posts in this section.

Kind of a bummer

you would say that Dougie! LOL

Me and a few other members would try to get some activity going, but very few FTE members every made it to the meetings. This year, Slisty, BLUEMAG RT and I went out together once.
