I saw the deal on ebay for the 6.0 intercooler but will it still help me out even if I dont tow. I saw where the EGTS dont drop that much under normal driving but what do yall think? Also are the boots I need expensive?

If you never push your truck to higher work loads and egt's, then you really wouldn't see any benefit from a bigger intercooler. However, if you tow a lot and/or race, then an upgrade would help out.

You only need one boot on the driver's side. One of the sponsors carry it, but I forget which one. I need to search and find it because I just got a brand new 6.0L I/C yesterday, and it's sitting in my garage ready to install.

 

Well i dont race but I have a heavy foot sometimes. If I got one of those for like 50 bucks, would you say uts still worth it?

 

No, you will not see enough of a differance to justify the cost or the work...

Well JTharvey has the same truck and he was able do perform it without dropping the tranny so the work should not be that bad. I guess I might have been expecting to hear that it would be a great idea
