Question how much bore in a factory 460 block?

How much over can you go from the 4.36 std bore. I talked to a machinist he said he couldn't get pistons bigger than .080 over unless special made....How big is too big and what is available?

I have heard the max over bore is 80 and only if your block is good for it.

.080 is pretty much it, and that only with sonic testing. Now most blocks can get to .080 and some can even go to .140 over if you are willing to sleeve one or 2 cylinders, some will go as far as .110 without sleeves but thats darn few and far between, and it's just litterly the luck of the draw.
