More WVO questions

I actually knew how the PSD's Injection system worked, My youngest brother Has a 99 PSD h/d , it is his farm truck and has 127k of real hard work miles. and I can tell you it runs very well on highly refined light Mineral oil, as my IDI also does.
Because the PS's have Glow plugs and a wait to start system, I thought they were still a form of IDI's but I was wrong. I have never seen any photos or drawings of the heads/pistons before yesterday.
I am actually very familiar with both injection systems, We do our own maintenance on 7 diesel tractors and 1 crawler. and our trucks.
Somehow the PS's being DI's eluded me.
We have 2 of the older tractors that are IDI motors, less glow plugs in the heads. (They do have a single glow plug system set up with a diesel drip in their intake manifold that actually starts a little fire in the intake that is drawn into the cylinders when activated, while starting) Set up with extra heated fuel tanks for WVO operation. but they get parked in the winter up here, just not needed.
Thanks

Ph88:
I opened your link, and the links in that thred, and that is all great info, but nothing on how the glow plugs are sticking into the combustion area. would like to find that info also. I have done searchs and still can't locate any info on the glow systems of PS's Hope you or anyone can help me find that, thats what we all do here.
