Biggest problem was being 2000 miles or so away from home on a few occassions and having to wait a week or so for Ford to fix the truck so I could get home with the load I was hauling. Dosent make for good trips.
I will wait and see how the new 6.4 PS pans out before I spend the dough.

Milwaukee, ordered 02January2007 Dealer/salesmen emailed me today with the info. but I'm predicting an actual build on the week of 19February2007 which is when the dealer said it will be delivered. Either way getting it here by or before 02March2007 will be great Now if I could only find a buyer for my current car.

When I took delivery of the 2003 F350 on Jan 2, 2003 none of the Ford techs knew how to fix the 6.0 and when a problem came up they took for ever to repair them because they did not know how to fix it. Down time to me is like a knife in the heart because of it being a work truck. Lets just say I had the home phone # of the local Ford Service Rep in my cell phone.
Dont get me wrong I like my 2003 6.0 and I would not buy any other brand truck. It just took 3 years for Ford to figure out how to get the 6.0L reliable and fix them properly. As a matter of fact I have 6 Fords in the drive way between work trucks and personal trucks. 2 of them are 7.3 PS F350's.
Any way good luck with your new truck and I will monitoring the threads on this forum to see how well they run over time.
Then I will think about buying a new one in 2009.
