Wow! There is several of ya'll!

I'm still thinking that I want to wait to see one in person. The pictures are really nice and all, but if I'm going to spend $30k+, I'm going to just about have to see it and drive it in person.

Know what I mean?

what fun is life if you do not take a $50K "leap of faith" every once in a while

KREnvy,

It is pretty funny to me that it is your nickname, KREnvy, that drove me to order my 08. I have an 05 that is exactly what I need, but last spring I was in a drive thru behind a truck just like my loaded Lariat, but had the KR option and was the DK Copper Metalic. It has been on my mind ever since and I finally could not stand it any longer. Just had to order a new KR and the 08 new features and upgrades was all it took to push me over the edge. I guess I am just weak willed and simple minded.

Last I heard they had the lots at the Kentucky Truck Plant full just waiting to ship. The dealer I ordered from said that they had a few ordered that were already built they were waiting for them to ship. So I don't think you will need to wait until June. Hopefully they will start showing up at the dealers in the next month.
How about listing your options. F450,rear end ratio, backup alarm, sun roof, Dually??????

Thanks, I am just trying to decide what I want on one.

Honestly, I don't know why I wouldn't order one. There would have to be some significant defect that was uncovered in the fleet within the first 3 months. Once I test drive it, I don't see waiting long unless they don't have all the options I want. My wife has always disliked Diesels just simply because of the noise factor. I'm hoping these new 6.4L engines are as quiet as everyone is saying.

But yes, I have serious KR Envy.

I'm staying off the test team this time around. I'll let someone else spend the big bucks and hope that it works well.

I thought about going manual, but I will see about using the transmission as an exhaust brake

Yes and No on the test going well...Lets say the test was very interesting....I think the total repairs that was covered by for in the 75k mile extended service plan I purchased amounted to about $25K ish.

Biggest problem was being 2000 miles or so away from home on a few occassions and having to wait a week or so for Ford to fix the truck so I could get home with the load I was hauling. Dosent make for good trips.

I will wait and see how the new 6.4 PS pans out before I spend the dough.
