The rotors are floating rotors, how hard could they be to remove?
Mine fall off the hubs everytime I remove my front wheels.....
Granted I've replaced my front brake pads 4 times in the past 4 years so I guess I never give the rotors a chance to stick.....oh by the way, I put on Wagner Semi's and like mentioned above, have had to replace every single year (yes, they are warranted for life or I wouldn't keep putting the same pads back on) as they wear irregularly and start squeeling. FWIW, I put some ceramic pads on the back a few years back that have never given me one bit of trouble.
The two large bolts that hold the caliper bracket on have locktite on them. They are very difficult to get loose without air tools. Make sure you put locktite on them when reassembling the bracket back on the truck. Don't forget or you'll be sorry.
2000Expy - thanks for the info on the Locktite - alldatadiy does not mention this at all.
What 'flavor' of Locktite should be used - they make several kinds. I'm not sure they are really different but I don't want to find out the hard way they are
