5.4 rough idle

I am the store manager of a auto repair facility, and the owner of a 2006 F150 with a 5.4 that misses horribly. I had two local Ford dealerships check it out and both times nothing could be found. I had a few of our techs check and out and nothing could be found. Finally one of the techs at the local Mercury Lincoln recommended new fuel injectors and catalytic converters. The engine still misses but is much better.
