I dont know how many of you are in the tidewaterarea but the Navy Scotts Center Hobby shop in Portsmouth has a lift you can rent for little to nothing, but it does require ID to get through the gate.

I also live in the Tidewater area steve 5 mins from the Norfolk line.

Yeah that's what stinks for the Hampton Roads area is that the only hobby shop lifts are on the bases. There might be a civilian one out there but I have yet to hear of one

There use to be one in Newport News that was open to the public where you could rent out bays for 5.00 a hour but it went under because of insurance reasons.

The lift thing in Richmond is history. The "shop" has since changed hands and is now full time for a used car place that opened in the building. It was the old Pence dealership @Belt Blvd. and the Midlothian overpass in south Richmond in case anyone was interested. Things change quickly around here.

We're just gonna have to find someone who can donate a drive way for a few hours. Any donators?

When you get in the chapters list and scroll down to the Va. Chapter, you will find "Join Chapter" underneath "Virginia Chapter". Click on that and follow directions.

Thanks for the info but it don't work! It says: This does not appear to be a public user group.

So how do I join or do I not worry about it?

Thanks

Possible places for the chapter members to meet and what to do at these get-togethers, such as helping each other work on our trucks. Keep reading the posts!
