Another ZF trans swap

I'm going to put a ZF 5 speed in my '95 5.0 4x4 F150. I need a shifter yet. Is a 4x2 and a 4x4 ZF shifter the same? Is the clutch disc spline count and diameter the same from a M5OD to a ZF? While I have the ZF in the garage, are there any easy wear items to replace? Such as input bearing or output? I figure I'll replace some easy items if it's possible. On the transfer case. I have 154,000 on the truck. The transfer case has probably been engaged less than 1,000 miles over those 154,000. Are there any wear items to consider replacing while I have it apart for the swap? Here is a reference link that I've been reading for FYI.

Thanks!

The only thing I can help with is the Zf shifter. Yes the 4x2 and the 4x4 ZF shifters are the same.

As for the clutch just check the part numbers for both applications and see if they are the same.

I found out both are 1-1/16" x 10 spline input shaft.

I don't know, I'm going to use my 5.0 flywheel so it shouldn't cause me any problems.

I just ordered a clutch kit from Summit. The 5.8 F250 part number is the same as the 5.0 F150 so I assume diameter is the same.

The Mazda trans could be had in the F250 as well as the F150. The ZF is a little more common in the F250 but most I have seen have the Mazda trans. What about a F350?

Only up to 92, I think. In 93 the 5.8 went to 11.5" clutch while the 5.0 stayed at 11" clutch.
