So, it's pretty cold here. Freezing rain most of the day made the roads pretty sweet from what I've heard. I can't wait til morning when I get to go to school. Oh well. Highs are supposed to be in the 20's on Wednesday. How are the conditions where everyone else is at?
Perfect. Overcast, looked like the sun was goin down about 3pm. My kind of day. Didnt really rain. It spit once or twice, but it was done before you even had to hit the wipers. I think we're supposed to see a change here tonight though. Highs the rest of the week are lower than todays bottom end. I think Thurs was 14/28 on the news. Great.
I would have figured more similar since you're not really that far. East of GI ain't it?
Yup.....east of GI about 12 miles.....north some too. (I'm north of US 30 about 3 miles). I love the snow (4 wheeling)......I just don't really like the ice. If it's going to do anything it needs to be enough for no school and just go ride all day!!!!
So, it's a warm 17 degrees here in good ol' GI. 50% snow today, 20% tonight, lower 20's tomorrow. It doesn't look like that wind will quit blowing anytime soon either. Aside from that it isn't really doing anything here (yet).
Still no snow out here!!!! My uncle (near Gibbon) lost power from last Wednesday until Sunday night as a result of the storm that moved through last week. The weatherman acted like we'd get some snow here, but we didn't. By the end of the week they're calling for 50% chance of "light snow" so there will probably be about 12 feet . Stay warm everyone!!!
well lets hope they are wrong this week as well looks like just a rain event. Pat I noticed you have a 1967 F-100 4x4. I dont see that truck in your gallery. Im abig fan off thatt style
Yeah, I need to get a pic of it put in. I have it in storage at my in-laws farm now. I may be selling it off later this year. As much as I hate to get rid of it, I really don't need three pickups right now! I'll see about getting a picture of it put up.
It's in pretty good shape. I found it in Wyoming, so not much rust. The bed floor is in really good shape, but the bed sides are a little beat up. It has a six cylinder that runs, but the input shaft on the 4 speed tranny is broke (I think). The grill is damaged on one side (aluminum grill), but I have another steel grill for it. Unless my 97 craps out any time soon (doubtfull, even with 180,000!), I'll probably fix the tranny this summer, and then probably sell it. You guys will be the first to know if that happens!

Sounds like it's been a better pickup than my 98. 176k, 30k on remanufactured 4.6L........found a leaking intake gasket this morning.......now if it had 176k original it would almost be expected, but it only has 30k on it!!!! Makes the 69 more appealing since it starts and runs everytime with little trouble (the only parts I've replaced are because I wanted to - it's always ran). Anyways, back to the topic at hand............it's kind of misting here right now. It's about 34 degrees, so it won't take too much for it get icy tonight!!!! Drive safe and stay warm!!!!!
