Am rebuilding '48 F1. Need to know the 'numbers' for the original Red paint, and/or the name of the color.

the name of the red color used is "vermillion red" I plan to paint my 48 that color which was the original color. I have not really looked into the specifics of the color but I'm guessing that my ford dealer body shop may have the color codes. Jim

Vermilion is the name, and the paint code that I have been able to come up with so far for that color is M-1722. Hope this helps.
