I'm changing the pump motor on my bronco today. Anybody know if I can remove just the motor, or do I need to take the whole pump off to get it off?
I can see what looks like one allen screw coming in from the front, not sure if there's another on the bottom, front or back? I have a CD serice manual, it tells me nothing this close... Any help would be great. You can email me too, cptnjack@charter.net

thats a good question. i thought about that myself, but than i couldn't find a pump anyplace at the time and just pulled the bulb out of the dash.

 

You can remove the motor with no problems, mine froze so I swapped it out from one out of a crown vic, had to rewire the connector but worked like a charm.
