Trouble with interior & exterior lights flickering

A couple of weeks ago, my interior lights, dash lights, stereo lights, headlights, and running lights starting flickering for no reason. My tailights and running lights on my box go completely out. I don't lose power to my stereo or my heater. The lights themselves do not seem to be dim and maintain their brightness. While the truck is running it takes about 2 to 3 minutes for it to start flickering. Now if I just turn the lights on without the truck running, they don't flicker. I have replaced the headlight switch, that didn't help. I also bought a instrument voltage regulator, but have not put it in yet. I don't know if there is ground problem or if it is some type of voltage regulator or what????

Fellas...any thoughts on this????

Thanks in advance for any advice.

Disconnect the battery ..remove the voltage regular on the fender and clean up all the connections and mounting area of it.

Do a complete cleanup of both ends of the cables as well.

also remove and clean up the floor dimmer switch as they become corroded and cause grounding problems.
