Air Bags for 1956 F100

Could anybody out there help - I have a stock standard 1956 F100 but I want a better ride in the front. I still want to keep the original beam axle and leaf spring front end. I've looked at a few magazines and those air bags that sit on top of the leaf stack and to the bottom of the frame rail look good but does anybody know will these kits fit in the front of the 1956 and will they work up front. If you have done this to your truck or you know someone who has, please tell me if this works - is it a better ride and if possible what is the kit called.
PS I want to keep the beam axle in it.

The air bags you're talking about are primarily for leveling out a fully loaded truck. I have seen ads lately for what is called a "monoleaf" spring. It's a single leaf that replaces the existing spring pack. Going back that far you may have to custom order, though.

I want to do the same. I know that it is done on older cars (look in Rod&Custom). I want to do the same to my Merc. There was a site that I found with a discussion board that I found to be helpful. Email me if you want the URL. I understand that you take out all leaves except for the bottom two and then mount the bag between the axle and the frame.
