Sleet, freezing rain, snow... This is pathetic. We were going to pick up my lady's bronco, but that's not gonna happen now. Not with liability only... I can't risk my pickup.

I just got a call on the phone from her and she's not happy because no one can help her get her bronco. I don't think she's walked on the street yet, otherwise she'd probably agree.

Hmmm one of those days too, huh? Furnace blew a capacitor, dryer blew out, fought with the wireless router for the morning, plus cold and windy (no ice though) all day...

Wow... you take a voltage spike or lightning hit?

I went thru almost the same thing over the summer, except it was a capacitor on the AC that went out. Thermal OPD went out on the dryer, and our "node" for our dsl went out. phone co and electric both say there was a "pulse" that just happened to find ground around HERE, at MY house. I thank god for the friends I make along my way, because without them I'd have had to make my family go without those things til I got back. Instead, a friend I have made who runs an appliance shop stayed late to get me what I needed!

Well, my dad's wiring in this house may have played it's part... I plugged in the drier, heard a funny buzzing, then a loud POP! and it was done for... the plug got wired wrong. Then later find the furnace not working.... both are under warranty.

I haven't had something fixed "under warranty" since the eighties, lol...

Oh except the MAF sensor on my wife's outback.

Must be that kinda day. I had to replace our router at work this am, then I go to scan a form and the HP G85 printer decides to quit. I run home and get mine from home and hook it up, nothing! Both are screwed. One won't recognize that a color cartridge is installed and the other won't recognize the USB. Sucks!!
