On February 24 and 25 the Northern and Southern California Chapters will be hosting the first ever regional meet. The meeting is being held at the Stoddard Valley Off-road Vehicle park, 10 miles south of Barstow, California.

It is a play area of the desert, and you are welcome to bring your cycles, quads, and any 4X4. Most members will be camped near the Slash X cafe, a few will be staying at the Ramada Inn of Barstow. You have to haul in your own water - none is available at that location.

I realize it is a long way from Portland, but we are calling this a western region meeting and you are part of our region. Who knows, maybe we can hold a summer meeting in your area.

Early this summer there will also be a mud bog drag and trail competition. Mostly it is between the farmers of central California and the high-tech wimps of Las Vegas, but entry is open to any member with a Ford. Again any of your members would be more than welcome to join us.
