Available Auxillary Curcuit
I have three auxillary electrical items that I would like to connect directly to an auxillary power and run circuit (I'm tired of moving those stupid auxillary plugs around). One is an xm radio that I believe I can tap directly to my existing radio power, one is a mobile phone amp/receiver and the third is a portable gps. I've looked in the manual and while I see auxillary circuits that may be available I am hesitant to wire directly without third party confirmation. I don't want to screw up the computers.

Your single AUX power jack (that takes a cigarette lighter plug) should be able to handle all three units you mentioned. If you have any experience building things, you can get the lighter plug, and three power plugs for each unit. Then, wire them together with an inline fuse (you will have to find out what the current rating is for each unit) for each.

Thanks for the information. I am actually trying to hook these up to a keyed circuit rather than an always hot circuit. Although I leave all three on now pretty much all the time and I haven't seen any drain on the battery. But then the battery is realativey new and I drive 30K a year.
