emergency brake location on '53 f-100
I'm doing brakes now and need some advice on what and where to mount the emergency brake handle. I have the stock underdash unit, but don't like it. I wanted to mount the flat floor mount type between the left side of the seat and the door...but I'd have to open the door to set the brake...I'm using a column shift so the center trans mount floor unit is out...I want a flat smooth floorboard....
any suggestions on type of unit and trick place to mount it ??? for those who didn't use stock unit...what did you use and where did you mount it
for those that used the stock hand unit...did you get stock type replacement cables or use an aftermarket set...from who...where did you route them
