Any good wreckers in stoon?
Hey I like going to the wreckers to buy parts, saves money that way.
Are there many wreckers in the Stoon area?
Hey also,
what paper do you guys use to buy used project vehicles in? or used vehicles in general?
Looking at the buysell and not much in it although there is a 93 bronco that is within my price range thats better than a 79 in alot of ways, but it has a broken window on the driver side door and the door looks like it was brushed against a tree while driving or something... the price is right though...
thanks

Buck`s is a small fraction of amigos prices but they don`t remove the parts, the customer has to. All engine is around $125 and all doors are like $25, Buck`s has only one price for parts wether it`s off ricer, a Lincoln or a BMW.
There`s more:
Brock Salvage
Adam`s
The BIG one in Saskatoon is SGI Salvage...later models except for the odd one.
Ron`s 4X4 Wrecking....Borden
Scout`s Auto Parts
AJ`s Auto Parts
There is many more out of Saskatoon including KM Parts in Young Sask. for 73 to 03 Mustang parts.

I think SK is the last place in Canada where you have "stuff" around, but can still afford to live you can live in the maritimes, but then you dont have all the "stuff"... BC and AB are getting to the point you needa be rich the wreckers here in Clearwater are some guys with 20 or so heaps in his back yard... no real wreckers even
thanks guys, sounds like you have all the stuff im used to having...

http://www.kowalko.com/saskatchewan_information.html
When I add links to wreckers now, only about 2% of the population will even notice HAHAHA... the 2% that matters
plus I dont have meta tags in the pages...thats the things search engines use to find a page, yahoo, google, altavista, etc... without those there is a 1 in 1 million chance anyone will ever find the pages LOL
OOPS, maybe manitoba too, but i havent looked (yet)

A THIRD wal-mart!
My wife and I like walmart alot.
I got another email from the print shop in stoon and they are going to call me for a phone interview next work week. The guy in charge of hiring (Kirk) also asked when I can come to stoon, and I told him ASAP if I am hopeful to get employed right away.
Dont the farms have to get rezoned to open a wreckers there?
You couldnt just start a wreckers on residential/farm land out here, and industrial zoned land is 10 times more expensive...
A guy I know here started a nice little collection of about 50 cars and the city of Kamloops which is an hour and 30 minutes away made him get rid of them all... and we are in the rural parts, where laws are as leinient as they get in BC...
What do you do for insurance there? Out here in BC we have 1 place, that is governement owned called ICBC...if you want to insure a car to drive it, thats where you have to insure it... no choice in the matter.
Who handles selling the write offs to wreckers out there? is it done through each individual insurance place? or is it ran by the government?

SGI handles ALL the vehicle insurance/plate registrations in Sask, no choice here either. They also sell the write off damaged vehicles, not a bad place to deal. The out of prvince write offs maybe handled by the owner`s insrance company as well as SGI. For extra coverage there are other insurance companies that are allowed to sell insurance. The SGI basic insurance obtained with the plates is minimal and better coverage/protection is often a good idea.
