Ok guys, dont laugh

i was beat today by a god #$*& civic Si , we started at 65 and ended around 85, he got me by about a fender and i shut down bcz my truck didnt seem to keep boost preassure like it usually does between 75-90, usually it just keeps on trucking but this time it paused and seemed to loose power.
Sh#&
Are those things really that quick or is my upper end just slow

Do you not have a tuner? Just an exhaust?? How can you expect a 7-8K truck, with no real performance mods, to beat a lightweight car that's designed to be raced? Order an SCT tuner with extreme tunes from Innovative Diesel. Talk about power!! Plug it in, set to race, hit the gas and hold on for dear life! What a rush!!
Don't feel too bad for losing, those little rice burners are built to do that. You just gotta add some perfromance mods and you'll totally smoke it next time.

Plus, you both floor it on the highway.
You downshift, out of your diesel RPM range into higher RPMs.
He downshifts, straight into high RPMs, where that little engine is designed to run.

You still own him in terms of blunt power, but he's got a LOT less weight to move.

Im sure i would beat him in a 1/4 mile drag strip from the start, i dont think it would be able to catch up after the power launch. I bet he was pretty impressed though, an f250 is huge, i was going to run him over just for ****z but i decided not to lol
