Bob's F100/Toyota PS

Can someone post the phone number for BOB'S F100. I'm considering the TOYOTA PS conversion on my 59 and understand he sells the pitman arm. What year box is the best? Is it a 4 wheel drive box? What kind of pump are most folks using? Thanks in advance for any info/advice.

I thought I read an article on this swap that said you use
the original pitman arm. That was one of the benefits of
this swap. Bob sold a special bracket to mount the Toyota
box. Sorry I looked and can't find the number.

An 80-84 Toyoya 4X4 steering box is needed. The articles I've seen strongly recommend against using the original pitman arm as the splines don't match. Mid-Fifty has an arm designed for this swap & also has anything else you need. You can also try surfing for other suppliers, there's plenty of them out there.

I have the "85" Toyota box from Bob. It works really good. I also brought the pitman arm from him. He has the Toyota arm with the Ford ball welded on it to fit right in the drag link. I used a Toyota hose and had another one made up for the low pressure side. If you use the original pitman arm you will have to do some grinding. You may come out cheaper buying the bracket and pitman arm then going to the junk yard for the steering box and hoses.
