Shopping for Gauges

Can one of you folks provide any suggestions as to the best type (company) and where to get a set of 3 gauges and the pillar mount. I would like to monitor the exhaust temp, boost and trans temp.

Thanks,

I personally recommend Autometer because i have them, and like them. Im getting alot more in the near future. I bought mine at www.puredieselpower.com from Garrett, and he's a great guy. Back then i wasn't comfortable with electronics so i had them paint my pillar and install the gauges, wire them in the pillar, where all i had to do was hook them up and install the pillar. About $400 which was a good deal. I have the SportComp2 series which match the stock gauges perfectly, needles, writing, backlight, everything.

I have Autometers form Garrett at www.puredieselpower.com The 3 pod pillar with pyro boost and tranny ran $300.

As for style or brand it's a matter of personal preferance, they all do the job, for around similar money.

Good luck with the install

I bought the ISSPRO setup from dieselmanor. The instructions from these guys are unbielievable. They are the best instructions I have ever seen. If you need the pillar mount painted, I would order it that way. The paint from ford is like $20.00 for a half size can.

Ill 3rd puredieselpower, Garrett was a huge help when I recived a bad pyro gauge. Just his customer service alone left a big impression, along with a great price for what I wanted.

I've also been impressed with the service from PDP. I've bought gauge and a pillar mount from them. Good customer service from what I've experienced.

DI Procols are great looking and a quality gauge as well.

As far as a kit, you WILL NOT find a better one than that available from www.dieselmanor.com best price and best kit you will find.

The instructions included in that thing are awesome.

Dennis at ITP Diesel.

He has unbeatable customer service, but it's the little things he provides that make me want to give him my money.

I second the Isspro's also I am going to do the install this afternoon and after looking at the instructions I am very impressed and looks like it is very straightforward. When I ordered I was also assured everything would be there and if not they would take care it!!

I purchased a set of DiPricol Optix from ITP. Dennis there was very helpful abd sent me everything needed. I had to use the website to print out the instructions because they werent included in the package. They were very helpful in getting the gauges to me here in Alaska.
