I Eat Hybrids: It's hard for me to give an opinion of the Fabtech kit. Because I used the Fabtech brackets/hardware, and Superlift springs. Everything held up. I took the truck apart in the fall and have some changes in mind. i.e., going with smaller tires that are actually round (I wouldn't recommend Interco Tires to anyone now), dual shocks up front and some small exterior styling touches.

I have had trouble with Interco tires in the past, but only on the 38" TSL Bias tires that I had on my 76 High-Boy and the 39.5" Bias I had on
my 79 F-150 Step-side, when I switched to the Irok radials on both trucks I have never had a problem since, hence the reason why I bought the 37" Irok radials for my 2004 SD, and hopefully this spring I will have the Bushwacker cut-outs put on and 41" Iroks...........I love the Iroks, I think they are a great tire

bbender85-yeah, I'm either going to acetone the badges or pull them all off...where in "Mid-MI" are you? I'm in Traverse City.
alstaregixxer-I love those 38.5 Boggers...do you drive on the road/street much with them? How do they ride?
Overkill-your Truck (BearHunter's also) is awesome. Seems like you have had this setup for over a year now, about time to move on to your next project isn't it ('08, maybe)???

They rode so well that I sold them with less than 3000Kms on 'em. I knew when I bought 'em that there would be a bit of shake(I have friends running boggers), and I used to work at a Goodyear tire store. BUT when we put these things on, the worst tire was calling for 70-odd ounces to balance. Tried talking to the place that sold them to me, and interco with no solution. I sold them to a guy with an off road only truck. The tires I want are the Nitto Mud Grappler, but they're hard to get up here in Canada.

For all you stockers that just want a little bit, here's mine. Not really lifted, just a 2.5" leveling kit, Bilstein shocks, a little plastic trimming and 35's. It rides like stock, handles well, and looks just right IMO. I know that the OEM wheels are not recommended for this size tire, but my tire guy wasn't concerned and I'm hoping for new wheels by spring. Yes it does rub at full lock if your not sitting on level ground. On smooth blacktop, it just barely touches the leaf spring at full lock. Thanks for looking!!
