The only reason I would get rid of my current 99 , would be for the nicer ride, articulation, of the coil spring front suspension.
Looks like you have shown me a way to keep him forever.
Thank you for the links.
If you want a cheaper route since thats very pricey, I've heard people use the 05-07 front ends as a cheaper route. Maybe others can add onto this.

The front suspension bolts up to the 99-04 super duty, half the bolts line up and some need to be drilled out. Its been posted on here before

I have skyjacker nitro's on my F350 for a little over five years now and i run them without boots and living in NJ has had no ill effects on the chrome rod or seals. I hunt and fish so i throw mud and stones all over the shocks and they still are fine

Superdutyscaler, seems you are the information guru, do you have any links to the previous posting of this setup.

Profectlittleredf250, I have considered the factory coil spring housing, but the Ford radius arms don't fit the leaf spring hangers like this example .

I don't want to have to cut and weld the front of my truck, it seems it would be cheaper to just buy a newer truck, or a kit similar to this one .

Either way, I believe this is the right way to do it, and of course it will be spendy.

It looks like the shocks are probably half the cost of the swap, I could add them at a later date I suppose.

His signature says 14" lift on 40s. Up here in BC Canada you have to have full tire coverage but lots of guys don't have it. I imagine its just to keep the side of the truck cleaner and the paint more chip free.

Yep 14" on 40's. Eberlestock, you know it. Have to have full coverage flares, and mud flaps. I'm use to it now. Don't want any issues with D.O.T. Keeps truck cleaner too lol.
