10k mod? fuel pressure ball bearing??
I've seen a few articles on a 10k mod, and something about a ball bearing mod to the fuel pressure, can someone lead me in the right direction on how to do these myself? Also, I already have an Edge Evolution programmer on it, can I still do this stuff, and it will be ok? I also have the pyro, boost, and water temp gauges hooked up, with an AEM intake, 3 1/2" downpipe, 4" straight exhaust. Thanks!!

There are some great instructions for the 10k and bb on that site.
The 10k will give your engine a rough idle but add some power. The bb shim gives a smoother idle but doesnt add any power.

there is also a ford spring kit, don't know the part number off hte top of my head, also for boosting the fuel pressure. It's for the california trucks. Also if you do add a programmer the 10K mod will mess with it. Most programers do what the 10K mod is doing so doubleing it up doesn't help.

I did the FPR shim prior to doing the 10k mod since i had a BB and some extra time on my hands. This was months ago. I can't say I noticed any major difference in idle smoothness or power (didn't expect a power boost)
Just last weekend I did the 10k mod-awesome difference for a $.40 resistor!
I did not notice any appreciable difference in the smoothness/roughness of my truck at idle after installing the 10k. I am assuming that it is because I already did the FPR shim. Or else I am just fortunate.
Anyway, both are very cheap mods and the 10k simply has to be the most cost effective way to boost performance of your truck. I am talking about an absolutely noticeable difference in overall performance for less than a buck and an hour (at most!) of your time.
Can't beat that!
