Ford F-350 PCM problem?
I have a 2003 F-350 6.0 PSD. Right after I bought it I started noticing some quirky things going on. My check eng light comes on intermitantly and my door open light stays on after the doors have been closed. Along with that the dome light will stay on as well. Some times the doors do not lock after putting the Truck in Drive but they will lock 5 or 10 minutes later while driving down the road.Also, the OBD II does not work with any code reader or diag computer. Truck runs strong and the MPG is not bad, around 17/18. Took it to a diesel perf guy and he said the PCM is bad. It will recieve a signal but not send. Can anyone confirm this is a PCM prob and if so, can it be fixed with a bench reflash?

Make sure the code reader is compatible with the "CAN network" The 03 6.0 has this network. A regular code reader wont work. The door ajar, dome light, and automatic locks are all related. You have a defective door ajar switch.
